For more than 30 years has CYTEC, as the patent holder, been producing cylinders for hydraulic and pneumatic systems, featuring positive locks in the end position. We serve a variety of purposes, from machine and plant construction to uses in the plastics processing industry.
CyPull and CyBlock core pull interlocking cylinders are successfully used in the tool and mold making industry. The CyStop locking cylinder is a custom-made element that solves almost all tasks in the automation industry at an appropriate cost. It is a combination of a pneumatic cylinder with an integrated locking system and offers the possibility of slowing down a lifting movement and locking it in any position. This is done automatically whenever the pressure drops at one of the control connections of the cylinder, so without any external power. The braking effect happens on the principle of friction/adhesion and can be effective in any position
… The compact CyBlock series was developed especially for applications in the tool and mold making industry, where, along with a low demolding lifting range the safe hold of the nucleus is most important. They are easily installed and adjusted and complete the range of our CyPull locking cylinder series. Just as the CyPull series, the CyBlock also works with an integrated and positively locking system at an extended position of the piston rod.
